Hi Pavan.

Initially three to five days isolation is required while undergoing treatment.

Nausea is a common symptom of tuberculous patient patients . If you are having nausea try to
1st identify drug causing nausea
2nd get Usg abdomen and sgpt done
Go to your nearest doctor

Isolation of a patient depends on the severity of cough a patient has . I have taken advice from a medical practitioner . They say that since this is droplet infection ,using a mask while coughing and not sleeping with anyone for at least 3 months is the precaution needed .strict isolation is not actually needed.

I am a having lymph nodes in my neck .presently I am having medicine and still there is pus oozing from the node .what do I do ?

Lymph node tuberculosis of neck is very common in children . PS specify your age,and I’m glad you asked us . Our physician advices not to press or touch the area repeatedly. Clean with betadine lotion and continue your medication . In case of need of antibiotic or anti inflammatory ,you need to consult a surgeon and physician both .

I am having pain in my body and not able to sleep at night since I started medicine 20 days back .pain is om only when I take a pain killer . Do you think I should stop medicine of tb ? It is not suiting me,

Sonam ,this is a very difficult situation . As per our panel of doctors advice you need extensive investigations . They suggest you not to leave the medicine at all . You need evaluation of your musculoskeletal system ad calcium levels . Consult a physician and orthopedecian too .
